What Makes Us Knotty…
It all started with a vision of offering quality food, great beer, and cocktails at a reasonable price. We reached that goal and opened our little neighborhood pub in 2011. In 2016 we added an in-house craft brewery, tasting room, and beer garden. Rancho Peñasquitos is home to our second location as of early 2019.
You’ll find our original family-friendly gastropub and in-house brewery in San Diego’s vibrant downtown neighborhood of East Village. In spring 2019 we expanded to the 56 corridors, opening our second location in Rancho Peñasquitos. We proudly feature fine, locally-sourced food and a selection of over 100 local, domestic and imported beers from around the world, including over twenty craft beers on tap.
We pride ourselves on partnering with local farmers and vendors to provide our guests with the freshest ingredients possible. Some signature ingredients that we enjoy working with include fresh heirloom tomatoes, Duroc bacon, all-natural chicken, and CAB beef. You can rest assured that all of our meats are hormone and pesticide-free. Weekend brunch is available year-round in Rancho Peñasquitos and during football season in East Village.
Whether you are in the mood for a light lunch or hearty dinner, our menu is sure to satisfy. Our carefully selected items and ingredients reflect traditional British “pub grub” with a San Diego twist that is sure to evoke a sense of comfort and satisfaction, especially when paired with one of our Knotty Brews.
